The Central Government Tuesday notified the appointment of 10 judicial officers as the additional judges to the Madras High Court.
Two notifications to this effect issued by the Ministry of Law and Justice approving the two separate recommendations of the Collegium for the appointment of judicial officers as the judges of the High Court.
The appointee judges are-

- Sivagnanam Veerasamy
- Ilangovan Ganesan
- Ananthi Subramanian
- Kannammal Shanmuga Sundaram
- Sathikumar Sukumara Kurup
- Murali Shankar Kuppuraju
- Manjula Ramaraju Nalliah,
- Thamilselvi T. Valayapalayam
The Supreme Court Collegium had recommended their names on September 23.
