The Executive Committee of the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) on Tuesday rubbished a purported statement issued in its name claiming that it had decided not to give a ceremonial farewell to Justice Arun Mishra on his retirement next month.
Senior advocate Dushyant Dave, President, SCBA termed the purported statement false and incorrect.
“No such statement has been issued by the Executive Committee and In fact this matter has not been considered by the EC in any meeting,” said Dave in a statement.
Dave also condemned the purported statement as being mischievous and an attempt to malign the SCBA.
