CJI commences post-summer break work after paying homage to COVID-19 death of 77 SCBA advocates

ON the first day of reopening of the Court after the summer break, Chief Justice of India (CJI) NV Ramana observed two minutes of silence to pay homage to 77 advocates who lost their lives battling Covid19. All the 77 advocates were members of the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA).

Judicial work for the day commenced after the CJI condoled the demise of the 77 advocates on behalf of all the judges.
