Budget session to commence Jan 29; Union Budget on Feb 1

When “Rule of Law” Becomes “Rule by Decree” in Parliament

The Budget session of Parliament will commence on January 29. President Ram Nath Kovind has signed an order to this effect summoning both houses of Parliament.

On January 29, President Kovind will also address both houses, while the Union Budget will be presented on February 1.

The budget session will be held in two parts. The first part will run from January 29 to February 15 and thereafter from March 8 to April 8.
